Create a Deal

Create a Deal

Section titled “Create a Deal”

Use Add new deal to create a deal manually.

Seller create deal form

The seller create form groups core deal fields, auction settings, status, and the embedded file link in one screen.

Main Fields

Section titled “Main Fields”

When creating a deal, complete the main business fields:

  • Deal title
  • Lot ID
  • Category
  • Quantity
  • Price per lot (EUR)
  • Warehouse location
  • Embedded file URL

Auction and Offer Settings

Section titled “Auction and Offer Settings”

You also configure:

  • whether Auction is enabled
  • the Auction till date/time when auction is enabled
  • whether the deal should Accept offers

Status Selection

Section titled “Status Selection”

Choose one of the available statuses:

  • Active
  • Disabled
  • Closed
  • Archive

For most new public deals, sellers typically use Active.

Validation Rules to Expect

Section titled “Validation Rules to Expect”

The form checks that:

  • required fields are filled in
  • quantity is a positive whole number
  • price is a positive whole number
  • the lot ID is available
  • the embedded file URL is valid
  • auction date and time are present when auction is enabled

File Preview

Section titled “File Preview”

Use Preview file before saving if you want to confirm the embedded document opens correctly.
