Deals Platform User Guide

This guide explains how to use the Deals Platform for the first time.

The platform has three real application roles:

• Visitor for people who are browsing without signing in
• Customer for signed-in users who submit offers, buy directly, save favorites, and track their own offers
• Seller for signed-in users who create, manage, import, and review deals

Use the section that matches your role:

• Start with Getting Started if you want a quick overview of how the platform works
• Go to Visitor if you only need to browse public deals
• Go to Customer if you buy or place offers on deals
• Go to Seller if you publish and manage deals
• Check Troubleshooting if something is unclear or not working as expected

What You Can Do in the Platform

• Browse a list of deals
• Open a deal to view full details
• Work with auctions or direct-buy deals depending on the deal setup
• Track deal status and offer status
• Use role-specific tools after signing in

Before You Begin

• You do not need to sign in to browse public deals
• You do need to sign in as a customer to submit an offer, buy directly, save favorites, or manage category subscriptions
• You do need to sign in as a seller to create, edit, cancel, import, or export deals
